A 36-year-old married couple from Koszalin (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) was detained by the police on New Year’s Eve at ul. Gnieźnieńska after the intervention of a bystander.
His report showed that “the 36-year-old driver of the Renault hit the traffic lights at the pedestrian crossing, at the intersection of Gnieźnieńska and Paderewskiego streets, with great force.”

The couple then tried to leave the car in a nearby parking lot and leave the scene. A bystander, seeing this, called the emergency number.
