44-year-old Piotr G. heard allegations of arson, among others, a kindergarten building in Koszalin (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). The fire took place on Sunday. There were also premises for rent inside, some of them were busy. Firefighters evacuated 10 people, including four children. The suspect admitted that he does not remember much from that night, because “he consumed alcohol in large quantities”, but “remembers that he was standing in front of the building and setting him apart.”
Ewa Dziadczyk, spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Koszalin, announced that 44-year-old Piotr G. heard two allegations in the District Prosecutor's Office without a permanent address.
– The first complaint is to bring a fire to life or health or in great size in a building at Piłsudskiego Street. There were no kindergarten children there, but there were tenants. The second concerns the destruction of property by setting fire to the staircase in a tenement house at Matejki Street – said Prosecutor Dziadczyk.

Piotr G. confessed and explained. – He said that he remembers little from that night, because he had previously consumed alcohol in large quantities. The prosecutor submitted to the court a request to apply for a suspicious detention on remand for three months. The court is to recognize the application on Wednesday in the afternoon.
The suspect faces up to 10 years in prison.
