A 49-year-old woman, her son and daughter and their neighbor called an ambulance to a “drunk man” who lay in the stairwell. Ambulance crew said the man was dead before their arrival. He had extensive facial trauma. People who called for help heard allegations of beating with fatal outcome.
Police officers determine the circumstances of the death of a man whose body was found on Thursday on the mezzanine of a tenement house on Wróblewskiego Street in Koszalin (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). Residents called an ambulance to a “drunk man” lying in the stairwell around 23.00.
It was the ambulance crew who notified the police about the incident because – as they found – the patient was already dead before their arrival. – The deceased had extensive skull trauma – Commissioner Monika Kosiec, the press officer of the Koszalin police said.
The police established the data of the deceased man – he is a 47-year-old resident of Koszalin.
The officers detained four people for the case: a 49-year-old woman, her 26-year-old son and 23-year-old daughter and their 38-year-old neighbor. As Monika Kosiec reported on Saturday, these people heard accusations of beating with fatal consequences. Depending on the testimony given by the prosecutor’s office, they may be charged with additional charges.
They called an ambulance, were detained
Suspects are people who called an ambulance. At the scene, they were to claim that they did not know the victim. However, the police did not rule out their participation in his death.
– The policemen who performed the activities on the spot found and noticed that the traces on the walls in one of the apartments could indicate that those who lived and stayed there could have contributed to the death of this man. As a result, two women and one man from that apartment were detained. Their neighbor was also arrested, who also had traces that could indicate that he was involved in this event – explained the End on Friday.
She added that the preliminary findings of the officers show that it was the people who consumed alcohol together. At the time of arrest, one of the men had 2.2 per mille of alcohol in the exhaled air, and the other 1.4 per mille.
