Kozienice. The policeman noticed a forest fire during a motor -ray flight

A police officer of the Mazovian provincial headquarters noticed a forest fire during a motor -ranking flight. His attention was drawn to the sight of smoke floating above the trees. The man notified firefighters and showed them the exact location. Thanks to the rapid response, it was possible to prevent the spread of fire.

On Friday, May 2, in the morning a policeman of the Control Department of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom, the senior aspirant Grzegorz Bartosiewicz was free from service. He spent the morning, flying a motorgalist. When he was above the Głowaczów commune in the Kozienice poviat, he noticed smoke floating above the forest.

“The policeman immediately informed the fire brigade. Thanks to his intervention, the services could precisely locate the source of danger, which significantly facilitated the firefighting operation,” the KWP press team in Radom informed.

Previously, in October 2024, the officer noticed a grass fire in Łukawska Wola. “In March 2023, thanks to his reaction, he managed to extinguish the fire in Cecylówka -Brzózka. Two years ago in the area of ​​the Wisła River near Kłoda (Magnuszew commune) meadows were on fire. Then the officer also reacted by informing the fire brigade” – says the Mazowiecka police in one of the messages.

According to information provided by the police, st. Bartosiewicz has been serving for nearly 20 years. He has long been passionate about aviation. It has a pilot license and belongs to the aeroclub. For eight years of years on free paragliders and with drive. “He took his first flight at the Paragliding School in Szczyrk, where he could admire the beautiful views of the mountains. A dozen or so years ago he flew on gliders in Dęblin Aeroclub. Aviation began to be interested when he was a few years old. He always dreamed of flying and striving to fulfill them” – we read.
