Krzysztof Rutkowski he was targeted by the Łódź-Bałuty District Prosecutor's Office. According to the website goniec.pl, the services are to investigate the case in which the detective is involved in terms of Art. 286 of the Penal Code – i.e. fraud. “It is not impossible that during a thorough investigation, the classification of the act may be extended to include Article 65 of the Penal Code, i.e. turning the crime into a permanent source of income or acting in an organized group,” a law enforcement employee revealed to the media. Rutkowski could face up to eight years in prison. But what is the issue?

The investigators' investigation will concern the case of a woman who once contacted Rutkowski to help her find evidence of the innocence of her husband, who had previously been convicted in a criminal case. The detective was to accept an order and a certificate worth PLN 15,000. euro in cash, without issuing the woman a receipt or invoice. The only document she supposedly received was application for media intervention for Patriot24 television.
When after a few months in her case there was no breakthroughthe client contacted goniec.pl journalists who caused the provocation. Then, Rutkowski's partners allegedly handed them over an invoice for a non-existent service, additionally with a false date. The document was issued by Patriot24 Intercontinental – a company registered in England.
