A dangerous event took place on Thursday (July 20) on the Florek-Strzelce Kujawskie railway route. The driver of the Koleje Mazowieckie train, going from Sierpc to Kutno, informed the railway security guards that there are unauthorized persons in the area of ​​the trackway who are placing stones on the tracks.

Officers of the Railway Protection Guard (SOK) went to the site and apprehended a 15-year-old boy who was laying obstacles in front of oncoming trains.
– The young man wanted to impress the girls present in this way. In the course of the activities carried out, SOK officers revealed crushed crushed stone on the heads of the rails, said inspector Piotr Żłobicki in a message.

The teenager was handed over to the police from Kutno. The boy will be responsible for a dangerous hooligan prank.
As emphasized by Piotr Żłobicki from SOK, by placing obstacles on the tracks, the train may be derailed, stop traffic and, consequently, cause delays and damage to the rolling stock.
– In addition, obstacles placed on the tracks may lead to sudden braking of the train, as a result of which passengers may be injured (…). Children and young people staying in the railway area, in unauthorized places, often do not realize that their dangerous games threaten not only the safety of trains and passengers, but also themselves – emphasizes the representative of the Railway Protection Guard.
