According to experts from the Spanish committee created to minimize volcanic risk (Pevolca), there is a possibility that in the coming days there will be earthquakes of more than 4.5 intensity, which is the highest magnitude to date.

The volcano caused about seven thousand people to be evacuated from their homes on the island, which has a population of 83 thousand.
