Law and Justice – father Tadeusz Rydzyk. The Lux Veritatis Foundation is to receive PLN 369,000 from PiS for live broadcasts of holy masses.

In 2024, Law and Justice will pay the Lux Veritatis Foundation PLN 369,000 for live broadcasts of holy masses. This is stated in the annex to the agreement that Jarosław Kaczyński’s party signed at the beginning of this year. The president of the Lux Veritatis Foundation is Father Tadeusz Rydzyk.

As we read on the website PIS, the agreement with the Lux Veritatis Foundation regarding live broadcasting of holy masses was signed in March 2015 and is to be valid until the end of 2024. At the beginning of January this year. an annex to the contract was signed.

According to the annex, in the first half of 2024, PiS will pay his father’s foundation Tadeusz Rydzyk PLN 24,600 per month. In the second half of the year, the rate will increase to PLN 36,900 per month. The total this year will be PLN 369,000.

It is not known whether the contract will be extended.

Grants from the Justice Fund for Rydzyk’s father’s empire

In recent days we reported that Tadeusz Rydzyk’s father’s empire received subsidies from the Justice Fund in the total amount of over PLN 22.1 million in the years 2015-2023. Of this amount, nearly PLN 21.5 million was awarded to the Lux Vertitatis Foundation, and the rest to the Higher School of Social and Media Culture in Toruń (belongs to the foundation of Father Tadeusz Rydzyk). This information was provided in response to the interpellation by Deputy Minister of Justice Zuzanna Rudzińska-Bluszcz.

The Minister of Justice is the administrator of the Justice Fund.

The list provided by Deputy Minister Rudzińska-Bluszcz included, among others: a grant of nearly PLN 7.2 million, which was to be paid to Rydzyk’s father’s foundation by the end of 2026. She did, at the beginning of January this year. Ministry of Justice announced the suspension of payments from the Justice Fund.

The ministry announced that it is conducting a detailed audit of the Fund. “The reason for the audit is to determine whether the awarding of specific grants is consistent with the Fund’s tasks and the principles arising from the Public Finance Act, such as transparency, economy and purposefulness,” it was explained.
