Warsaw traffic police officers stopped a drunk driver on Trasa Łazienkowska who was driving a car intended for transporting people with disabilities.
He had 0.9 per mille of alcohol in his system. He faces up to three years in prison, a hefty fine and a driving ban. Just like five other drunk drivers stopped during Sunday morning checks on the capital's roads.
“That's 6 too many today. Such drivers pose a threat not only to themselves, but also to other road users. Traffic police operations will continue. Also at other times of the day,” the Warsaw police emphasize.

There is no shortage of drunk drivers
Police officers from the capital and Masovia recently summed up the first half of the holiday season on the roads. During this period, traffic was stopped on the capital's roads. 48 drunk drivers and 18 after using alcohol. On Mazovian roads it was less than 400 drivers who drove vehicles after consuming alcohol.
