The 61-year-old girl hit by a car was taken to hospital. The preliminary findings of the police show that the woman was passing in a forbidden place. The officers are now explaining the exact circumstances of the accident.

The incident took place on Tuesday at Aleja Wolności in Lębork (Pomeranian Voivodeship). – After 11.30 am, we received a report that a woman had been hit by a passenger car. Preliminary findings show that the 61-year-old was crossing the street in a forbidden place and then she was hit by a Toyota run by a 36-year-old woman – said the aspirant Marta Szałkowska, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Lębork.

The woman was transported to the hospital by helicopter

Szałkowska added that the woman hit was transported to the hospital by a helicopter from the Polish Medical Air Rescue.

“She’s injured her legs, and internal injuries are possible, but I don’t have all the information about her health at the moment,” she said.

The car was secured for trial activities. Police officers are working all the time on the spot to explain the details of the incident.
