We have very competent women on the Left. I believe that it is time for a woman to take part in the race for the Presidential Palace – said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy, in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24. She also said when a decision on this matter would be made.

Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk was asked in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 whether the Left will field a woman as a candidate in next year's presidential elections.

– I hope so, I think that we on the Left have very competent women, competent politicians, great candidates. “I think it's time for a woman to run for the Presidential Palace,” she replied.

She was also asked if she could see herself in this role. – We will make the decision about who this candidate will be and what her name will be together in the New Left after the elections to the European Parliament, after the end of this electoral cycle. I am convinced that whoever she is, whoever has the honor of representing the Left in the presidential race, will be a competent, reliable, substantive and hard-working woman, added the minister.
