Four passenger cars collided on Tuesday evening on Zegrzeńska Street in Legionowo. The fire brigade reported that two people were injured. An air ambulance helicopter landed on site. The ambulance on its way to the accident also had a collision.
– There was a collision of four cars. The road towards Serock is completely blocked. There are two wheeled ambulances and an LPR helicopter on site. We have two injured people, both of them are conscious and currently being treated by the emergency medical team – said Junior Brig. Łukasz Szulborski, press officer of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Legionowo.
He added that three fire brigades are at the scene. In the direction of Legionowo, traffic runs on one lane.
The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways announced in a statement that the incident occurred on national road No. 61 between Legionowo and Serock. It was estimated that the disruptions may end around 11 p.m.
Mateusz Szmelter from tvnwarszawa.pl was on site. – There was a collision of four vehicles near the intersection of Zegrze and Wolska. One of the cars landed on its roof and was completely destroyed. Another car is also badly damaged, although it is still on its wheels, he said. As he added, the road towards Serock was completely blocked, and during the LPR landing both roads, also towards Jabłonna, were impassable.
Our reporter added that one of the ambulances that was on its way to this accident had a collision. – In Jabłonna, she collided with a Mercedes at the Biskupów Płockie roundabout – he said.
