Legnica. Decommissioning of a professional methamphetamine production line

Wrocław policemen liquidated a professional production line for producing methamphetamine. She was located in one of the single-family houses near Legnica (Lower Silesia). They detained two men and seized 7,300 commercial portions of the drug.

The officers of the department for combating drug-related crimes of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław, assisted by Wrocław counter-terrorists, participated in the action.

– On the basis of thorough checks and observations, they selected a property where methamphetamine production may take place. On the basis of the collected material, the police entered precisely selected buildings, where they found a complete production line for the production of psychotropic substances in the form of methamphetamine, significant amounts of this drug and two people who were involved in the production of this forbidden drug – informs Przemysław Ratajczyk from the press office of the Lower Silesian Police .

The spokesman added that when officers entered the buildings, the men who were there were still trying to cover their tracks and destroy evidence of their activities by setting the rooms on fire. – However, the quick and decisive actions of the policemen prevented this attempt – says Ratajczyk.

Two detainees

The officers intercepted nearly 7.3 thousand people. commercial portions of methamphetamine, marijuana, and three canisters of six liters of fluid that was sent for laboratory testing. The policemen also secured a fully equipped, professional production line for the production of psychotropic substances.

Two men, aged 43 and 27, who were in the process of producing methamphetamine, were detained on the spot. At the request of the prosecutor’s office, they were both temporarily arrested by a court decision for three months.
