“What have I done to you? Choked? Murdered? I slap you there in the form of a joke, and you – that mobbing”

Karolina sued the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław for being mobbed, molested, and finally tried to dismiss her – a victim of violence – from service. He is demanding over PLN 2 million in damages and compensation. Here’s how she ended up in court with her story from the cleaners’ storeroom.
– I did not like her as a woman – these words were used by Wiesław J. seven years ago to tell his version of events to the prosecutor. Seven years ago, he was the commander of the Independent Police Prevention Subdivision (SPPP) in Legnica. Today, by a final court judgment, he is found guilty of using his official dependence to attack the freedom of his subordinate, torment her and force her to engage in another sexual activity.
Neither then nor later did he plead guilty. He never apologized to Caroline.
Wieslaw J. may be resting. He has a place: he is the owner of an apartment, which was renovated by a maintenance worker employed in SPPP during his working hours, and officers helped to furnish it, transporting furniture on the order of the boss in a company car. And he also has a reason: he’s in the police station retiredmoney is credited to his account every month.
The cop is still recovering. He suffers, among other things, from post-traumatic stress syndrome.
“Are you in a relationship with anyone?”
Karolina comes from a police family. Her siblings wear uniforms, her father worked in the unit as a maintenance worker. No wonder she wanted to be a cop herself. She joined the service in 2007, after a few years she landed in the Independent Police Prevention Unit in Legnica at the security post. It’s a specific job. Duty hours are twelve-hour shifts, the watchman’s office is worked once a day and once at night.
