Legendary jockey Lester Piggott has died aged 86.
Piggott, who received the Epsom Derby 9 occasions, had been in hospital in Switzerland.
He was inducted into the British Champions Sequence Corridor of Fame final yr.
His daughter Maureen Haggas, talking at Haydock Park on Saturday, mentioned it appeared he was “bettering”.
She added: “He is a lot better than he was earlier within the week and hopefully he’ll be going residence on both Monday or Tuesday.”
