The police officers informed the duty officer of the police station in Lesznowola about the incident, and he sent a uniformed night shift patrol to the place. Both men were tested for alcohol content. – The 38-year-old sitting behind the wheel of the vehicle blew more than three per mille of alcohol, and his 24-year-old colleague sitting in the passenger seat over 2.5 per mille – added Gąsowska.
The men spent the night in a police cell.
“After sobering up, their memory came back”
As the officers point out, the state of intoxication of the detainees made it impossible for them to conduct activities with their participation for a long time.
“When they regained their strength, they remembered what happened that fateful evening,” the policewoman said.
The 38-year-old was charged with driving while intoxicated, for which the Penal Code provides for up to two years in prison. The proceedings in the case are supervised by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Piaseczno.
