At the age of 34 Robert Lewandowski has not stopped making his fans dream. On 19th July 2022, the Polish striker had officially signed his move to Barcelona from Bayern Munich, after eight years spent in Bavaria, to the sound of goals and trophies.

238 goals in 245 matches with the shirt of the German club, a respectable visiting card for one of the strongest strikers on the world football scene. To wrest him from Bayern Munich, Barcelona had paid 45 million euros plus bonuses into the German coffers, with a clause of 500 million euros.

Robert Lewandowski had made it clear from his first appearances in the Blaugrana shirt that he had not arrived in Barcelona to spend the winter. Goal after goal the Polish striker immediately made it clear that he also wanted to establish himself in Spain. On 7th September 2022, the Pole had scored a hat-trick in the Champions League debut match against Viktoria Plzeň, becoming the only player to score hat-tricks in the Champions League for three different clubs.

On 15th January 2023 Robert also became the protagonist of the Spanish Super Cup final, in which Barcelona won 3-1 against Real Madrid. The Polish striker scored a goal and gave away an assist. The former Bayern Munich striker did not miss anything and on 14th May 2023 he was crowned champion of Spain, precisely in the derby against Espanyol, won 4-2 by Barcelona. Robert Lewandowski takes the stage by scoring two goals, further increasing his personal tally of the season.

The striker also won the Pichichi Trophy with 23 goals scored. For the 2023/2024 season, Barcelona starts again from its number 9, the seasonal goal is to be competitive also in Europe, dreaming of the triumph in the Champions League, which the Catalans have been missing for a long time. And speaking of the predictions on the next Champions League 2023-24, the odds tell Manchester City is still the favorite with 2/1 for the final victory, Bayern Munich follows with 6/1, the usual Real Madrid is given at 8/1, Barcelona are given 10/1, just like Paris Saint-Germain, given 10/1.

The arrival of a valuable piece of the market like İlkay Gündoğan will certainly reinforce the attack of the Blaugrana club, which will obviously still focus on Robert Lewandowski to try to scare the opposing defenses. This year the fans hope to be able to be competitive again in the Champions League too, to relive the joys of the past, when Barça had no rivals in Europe.
