You have to boycott the commission examining Russian influence, because it breaks the backbone of democracy in the eyes of the media, said Krzysztof Gawkowski, head of the Lewica club on TVN24, in “Fakty po Faktach” and announced that his club would not submit candidates for members of the commission. The same is declared by Michał Kamiński, Deputy Speaker of the Senate (PSL-Koalicja Polska). – As a joint candidate of the opposition to the Senate, I can promise, on behalf of the entire opposition, I believe, that we will certainly explain the Russian influence in Poland – he said.

The director of the Sejm Information Center, Andrzej Grzegrzółka, informed on Friday afternoon that the Marshal of the Sejm Elizabeth Witek she appointed the deadline for submitting candidates to the commission investigating Russian influence. Clubs have been told they have until August 29. The act adopted in this matter is referred to as “lex Tusk”.

The head of the Left club Krzysztof Gawkowski assessed in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 that “this is pure politics”. – This is, first of all, an illegal body that is supposed to permanently check politicians in order to simply hit them with baseballs in order to keep the PiS election campaign going – he said.

He announced that the Left would not report anyone to this committee. – And if one of our left-wing friends is asked to stand there, we will persuade them not to stand. This commission should be boycotted, because it is breaking the backbone of democracy in front of the media – said Gawkowski.

Kamiński: We will certainly explain the Russian influence in Poland

Michał Kamiński, Deputy Speaker of the Senate (PSL-Koalicja Polska) also said that his club “will not send its representatives there”. – However, as a joint candidate of the opposition to the Senate, I can promise, on behalf of the entire opposition, I believe, that we will certainly explain the Russian influence in Poland – he added.

– In Poland, it is necessary to explain how it happened that we were such a large importer of coal in the years preceding the incursion by (Vladimir) Putin to Ukraine. When money from Poland helped build the financial power of the Russian army before the war that this army unleashed. We must explain, and none of us from the opposition will shy away from this explanation, how the scandal with the rocket was possible, how the scandal with Belarusian helicopters was possible (…) how it was finally possible that politicians came to Poland for party congresses, whom the entire West accused of being Putin’s people.

– If we take over power, the services in the Polish state will be responsible for prosecuting spies, and politicians will be responsible for dealing with politics. In the PiS state, the opposite is true. The services deal with politics, and politicians deal with spying, said Kamiński.

– Opposition things have already agreed many months ago. If a parliamentary and constitutionally empowered investigative committee is created, one in which we have the right to believe that no one will twist its work and the report will be honest, then firstly everything can be explained there, but secondly it has the most on its conscience (Jaroslaw Kaczynski and his crew. It was Mr. Macierewicz, the ministers of the PiS government, and finally Mr. Kaczyński himself and Prime Minister Morawiecki who allowed Russian influence in Poland to be the greatest for years. No one else did it, it was the government of these gentlemen who led to it – said Gawkowski.

Kamiński: Terlecki admits that the services take part in the election campaign

Politicians also referred to the incident with the police Black Hawk at a picnic near Sarnowa Góra and words of the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, head of the PiS club, Ryszard Terlecki.

Deputy head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration Maciej Wasik admitted after the incident in Polsat News that he helped bring the helicopter to a picnic.

Terlecki said on Friday that “this is also a government campaign, so state services are somehow responsible for how the government is received, treated and what image it has.” – So I think that in a situation where Poland’s security and the security of citizens, both external and internal, are a priority, the army, police and fire brigades are an important element of securing the state and protecting citizens – assessed the PiS politician. that the participation of the army or services in the promotion of what the government does is important, he added.

Kamiński said that “Terlecki actually admits at this point that the services are taking part in the election campaign, that is, the amount (amount – ed.) for the renovation of this helicopter, and as we read, it will be PLN 3 million, should be included in the budget of the election campaign of the Law and Justice”. – The cost of this picnic, for which that helicopter flew, should be included in the election budget of Law and Justice and simply explain to Marshal Terlecki that the promotion of the government during the election campaign is the participation of this government in the election campaign – he added.

Gawkowski: It is clear that PiS wants to turn the head of the whole case

– If we have a situation where the deputy marshal, the head of the PiS club, talks about the fact that we will include the services in the campaign and this is normal, for promotion or whatever, then I think that we should be afraid and watch over democracy – Gawkowski assessed.

He added that “I treat this statement in such a way that PiS will grab a razor, and this razor may be the services if he has to maintain power.”

– Clearly today Law and Justice I want to knock the whole thing off and sweep it under the rug,” he said. He added that this cannot be allowed to happen.

– Law and Justice in such situations, where someone works on the phone, should resign. Minister Wąsik should be fired from the government immediately. As the Left, we filed a motion with the prosecutor’s office to prosecute this. Bo Wąsik as the deputy head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, but also General (Jarosław) Szymczyk as the head of the police got their hands in this. Someone had to sign the release. Someone sent and signed a flight plan – assessed the head of the Left club.

“Who gave permission for a helicopter to fly over people’s heads?” – He was asking.
