The police are explaining the circumstances of the road accident that occurred on the national road between Nowa Sarzyna and Tarnogóra (Podkarpackie). As a result of the rollover of a passenger car, two people were taken to hospital.
The incident occurred on Sunday (September 29) before 6 a.m. on national road No. 77. Police preliminary findings show that the driver of the Opel, a 22-year-old resident of Sarzyna, most likely fell asleep at the wheel, drove into the opposite lane, drove into a roadside ditch and hit in the culvert.
As a result of the incident, the car rolled over. The 22-year-old and his passenger were taken to hospital with injuries. The driver of the Opel was sober.
“Police officers worked on site, collecting evidence that will allow us to clarify the exact circumstances of this incident at a later stage of the proceedings,” the Leżajsk police said.
