Former Oasis leader Liam Gallagher tweeted that he fell out of the helicopter after performing at the festival on the British Isle of Wight. He also posted a photo of his wounded face.
Liam Gallagher, once the leader of the Britpop band Oasis, was the headliner of the Isle of Wight Festival on Friday. On Saturday, he posted a photo of his wounded face on Twitter.
Gallagher: I fell 100,000 feet
He reported that he “fell out of the helicopter” the previous night. He also compared himself to the late The Who drummer Keith Moon, who was known for his insane behavior.
“I have the cover of the next album,” he joked in another tweet. When asked by one fan from what height he had fallen, he jokingly replied that “100,000 feet” (30 kilometers – red).
Another fan asked if there were any footage of the accident. “Yes, they are in the next clip” – replied the musician.
The whole thing happened before the premiere of a new documentary for the 25th anniversary of Oasis’ concerts at Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire in 1996.
