Meat from the slaughterhouse illegally operating in the Limanowski poviat went to kebabs sold in Krakow and Zakopane. The prosecutor's office brought the first charges in this case.
The investigation conducted by the District Prosecutor's Office in Limanowa includes several threads. According to local media reports, meat from illegal slaughterhouse went to gastronomic points, including Kebabs in Krakow and Zakopane.
Allegations for two foreigners
As the spokeswoman of the District Prosecutor's Office in Nowy Sącz, prosecutor, Justyna Rataj-Mykyn, as part of a violation of the provisions of the Act on animal products, two foreigners were charged with committing a crime under Art. 25 point 4 of this Act, i.e. introducing animal products to the market in an illegal manner.
In addition, one of the detained men heard the allegation of using a document certifying untruth.
At the same time, subsequent proceedings are conducted regarding the violation of the provisions on the protection of animals, that is, the slaughter of the animal in violation of the provisions of the Act or abuse of an animal. Currently, no accusations have yet been made in this case, but the investigation is underway.
The third investigation concerns the crime of environmental pollution in significant sizes, which could have arisen as a result of the throwing of post -labor waste. Currently, it is conducted in the REM mode, which means that the proceedings are focused on determining the circumstances of the act before specific suspects are indicated.
