Equality March slogan: “Queer aboard”

As Katarzyna Pasikowska-Poczopko, a TVN24 reporter from Łódź, reported on TVN24, the atmosphere in the place was very good and, as every year, it was colorful and cheerful.

This year’s march was held under the slogan of inner solidarity – “Queer aboard”. “The LGBTQ+ community is wide and diverse. Each of us has our own goals and dreams. We also have our divisions and differences, which is why our solidarity and cooperation are so important. At the Equality March, every person has a safe place for themselves” – they explained in the media social event organizers.

“The existence of LGBT people cannot be erased, we are, we were and we will always be”

Katarzyna Pasikowska-Poczopko met Florian, the hero of Piotr Jacoń’s report, during the march “All About My Country”. He told the TVN24 journalist how important it is for him to participate in this demonstration. – It is important to be visible and to show with these marches that no matter what actions are taken – whether on a civic initiative or by politicians – it is the existence of people LGBT cannot be erased, we are, we were and we will always be. This is one of the most important ideas behind the marches, but it is also important to unite with a larger group and have fun during this march – said Florian. – We promote equality here, we promote here that everyone can be in society – in Poland, in Łódź – that they can feel like a full citizen, a full citizen, regardless of sexual orientation, regardless of the identity that someone feels – said another of participants of the Lodz march.
