Łódź. Damaged roofs after storms. Eight in only one town

Storms passed over part of Poland on Saturday. Firefighters intervened several hundred times, the most in the Łódź Voivodeship. There, a dozen or so roofs were damaged due to strong wind and hail precipitation.

Firefighters throughout the country on Saturday They recorded almost 250 interventions related to the transition stormaccompanied by strong gusts of wind and hail. There was also heavy rain.

Until 7 o'clock on Sunday, firefighters in the Łódź Voivodeship intervened when removing the effects of atmospheric events 52 times. 30 events concerned vestibule, 16 roofs were damaged – according to the services of the services. Most – i.e. 8 – were recorded in Magdalena in the Piotrków poviat.

In most damage, they concerned roofs from Eternit, which the hail was full. In the town of Kamienna, the wind broke part of the roof from the building.

Streets full of water in Sulejów

According to the local Portal Sulejów24 on social media, there was floods on several streets in the city of Sulejów (poviat of Piotrków). The fire brigade intervened.
