The Łódź court convicted the former deputy voivodship commander of the State Fire Service in Łódź for driving a car under the influence of alcohol. As the study showed, he had 1.7 per mille of alcohol in his body. He was dismissed and dismissed from service.
The incident occurred on September 4, 2024 at Olechowska Street in Łódź. The police decided to stop the driver of the passenger car because he was driving too fast. In the place where the speed limit of 40 kilometers per hour was in force, the 49-year-old drove 62 kilometers per hour.
– The man was intoxicated, the study showed that he had 1.7 per mil of alcohol in his body – the younger aspirant Maksymilian Jasiak from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Łódź reported in an interview with TVN24 editors.
The driver was fined and a driving license was detained. The case went to court.
Brigadier Jędrzej Pawlak, spokesman for the Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Łódź, informed in September last year that the deputy commander was dismissed and dismissed from service.

As we agreed, the order in this case was passed at the end of April before the Łódź-Widzew District Court.
– The man was sentenced to seven months of restriction of liberty consisting in the obligation to perform free, controlled work of 25 hours per month. In addition, the court awarded the driving of motor vehicles for a period of four years, a payment of five thousand zlotys to the victim aid fund and forfeiture of the car – said prosecutor Paweł Jasiak from the District Prosecutor's Office in Łódź.
