Lodz police officers are looking for a man who hit the car window with an ax and kicked the car door in the parking lot in front of one of the restaurants. Its driver left the scene and alerted the services about the case. According to the prosecutor’s office, the applicant’s car was completely destroyed in another part of the city two days later.

The first incident took place on Tuesday, February 14, in the parking lot in front of one of the restaurants on Mickiewicza Street in Łódź. Stop Cham published a video from a random driver’s webcam, which shows a man with a hatchet in his hand approaching a parked car, hitting the window with the tool, and when the vehicle starts to drive away, he starts kicking in the door of the vehicle.

The case has been dealt with by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor for several days. – After the incident that took place on February 14, the police officers received a notification about threats and destruction of property – Kamila Sowińska from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Łódź informed tvn24.pl. “The search for the man is underway, activities are ongoing,” the police officer added. In turn, the spokesman for the Łódź district prosecutor’s office, Krzysztof Kopania, informed that two days later the man’s car was completely destroyed in another part of the city. – On the night of February 16/17, this car was severely damaged with an axe. The victim reported this. The proceedings are supervised by the Łódź-Polesie District Prosecutor’s Office. So far, no one has been charged in this case, the prosecutor said.

The police have secured the surveillance and are still looking for the perpetrator. Punishable threats may be punishable by up to two years in prison, and for damage to property by up to five years in prison.
