Strykowska Street (part of national street 14) is one of the busiest streets in Łódź. According to the last general traffic measurement (data from 2020), the number of cars on the border of the city of Łódź and the commune of Stryków exceeded over 16,000. The road was damaged in many places – it had ruts and potholes.

Its renovation had been going on for several weeks over a distance of several kilometers. Driving along the route was only possible from Stryków to the city center.
