Łódź. The chairman of the Łódź club of PiS councilors resigned. He has “the good of the political formation” in mind

By Jarosław Kaczyński's decision – at the request of Agnieszka Wojciechowska van Heukelom, the head of the party's local structures – he had already been suspended together with another PiS councilor, Krzysztof Stasiak.

“I will not comment on the internal affairs of the party. I will only say one thing. For 18 years, while I have been in the structures of Law and Justice, I have not broken the party's statute or evaded the obligations arising from this document,” Marzec wrote then.

The suspension is the result of the confusion mentioned above we reported on tvn24.pl. In November, the elections for the president of the local PiS structures were canceled at the last minute in Łódź. The headquarters appointed MP Agnieszka Wojciechowska van Heukelom for this position, who formally joined Jarosław Kaczyński's party two months earlier. Elections for the position of party leader in this district are to be organized, but only in spring. Not everyone in the party liked the decision to cancel the elections for the district president and appoint Wojciechowska van Heukelom as the representative. – They forced it on us because at Nowogrodzka Street they knew well that Agnieszka Wojciechowska van Heukelom would not have had the slightest chance. Local activists simply don't want it. The problem is that together with Zbigniew Rau (the head of Polish diplomacy in the government Mateusz Morawiecki – ed.) convinced the president that there is stagnation in Łódź and that they should go to war with us – one of our interlocutors told us.

– Why wouldn't she have a chance? – we asked. – For many, many reasons. The MP has a confrontational style. He likes to dominate and show his superiority. Besides, it is a political banner. She was expelled from PiS, founded PJN (Poland is the most important – ed.), then politically supported Kukiz and Korwin. How can you build anything lasting with someone like that? – we heard in response.
