The man walking on Lake Dziekanowskie near Łomianek near Warsaw found a manual grenade of Soviet production. Sappers were called in.

“The guessing person's assumptions turned out to be justified, it was the Soviet manual defense grenade F -1, most likely from World War II, modeled on the British Granate No. 5 – Bomb Mills. During the explosion, large shards had a huge range reaching up to 200 meters” – the City Guard from Łomianek explained in the announcement.

City guards directed to the place, until the arrival of the sapper patrol, secured a historical find against access by bystanders.
