A ten-year-old student had alcohol in her backpack at school. The study showed that the girl had more than half a per mille in exhaled air. The police are now explaining the details of the incident.
Everything happened on Wednesday in one of the primary schools in Łomża (Podlaskie Voivodeship). Sub-commissioner Justyna Janowska from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Łomża confirmed on Friday in an interview with the radio.bialystok.pl portal that the officers had received a report of a drunk 10-year-old on the emergency number.
– The person on duty in the Łomża unit received a notification that in one of the schools in Łomża, a student has alcohol hidden in a backpack and may be under its influence. – Jankowska told the portal.
She added that the test carried out in the presence of the legal guardian showed that the girl had more than half a per mille of alcohol in the exhaled air.
The case will go to a family court
Officers now explain how the girl obtained the alcohol and where she drank it. The family court will deal with the case.
