The bodies of a family of four were discovered in the Hounslow district of west London on Friday. The London police reported that they were Poles. The services said they are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the case.
According to the London police, the victims are 39-year-old Michał, 35-year-old Monika and their two children, 11-year-old Maja and three-year-old Dawid. Police added that their relatives had been notified of the incident and autopsies would be performed to determine the cause of death.
Earlier, Sky News reported that the victims could be Poles, referring to one of the family’s neighbors, who, however, stated that he did not know them very well.
Police said they received a call on Friday afternoon from a person concerned about people living at a house in Staines Road, Hounslow, west London, and upon arriving and entering, officers found four bodies inside.
“Our investigation is at an early stage and the situation remains that we are currently not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident. However, we keep an open mind and ask anyone who believes they have relevant information to contact us as soon as possible,” she said. police detective Linda Bradley.
The mother of school friend Maja told Sky News that her daughter had been trying to contact her since Tuesday but she had not responded to messages. She added that she thought the whole family flew to Mallorca because they said they had a plan for the man’s 40th birthday.
