The man holding the Palestinian flag climbed on Saturday morning to the Big Ben clock tower in London. Emergency services and the police arrived. A crowd of onlookers gathered under the tower. The man went to earth only after 16 hours. He was arrested.
The officers were notified of the incident at the Big Ben clock tower on Saturday at 07:24 of local time.

In response to this event, the authorities closed the Westminster Bridge, and the tour of the British parliament's headquarters was suspended.
Rescuers used a crane to negotiate with a man who waved the Palestinian flag and shouted “Free Palestine”. Ultimately, the demonstrant gave himself to the police. Earlier he announced that he would do it “on his own conditions” – reports Sky News. The man left the tower only after 16 hours, when on the Big Ben's clock the north broke.

– We cooperated with other services, including London Fire Brigade, and sent specialized officers to end this incident as soon as possible, while minimizing the risk to life – explained the spokesman for the metropolitan police.
All roads were re -opened after the man's arrest.
