An avalanche has gone
On Sunday before noon there was a dangerous avalanche accident under the north-east wall of Świnica. Before noon, a random tourist at the Karb Pass noticed two people moving in the Świnica wall area, and then noticed fresh ranges. A moment later TOPR received a notification from a mountaineer, who announced that they and their partner were kidnapped by an avalanche. One of the victims for a few minutes was under the snow, but he was unearthed by a companion.
Because the injured had dizziness and bleeding from his mouth, TOPR rescuers set off on board the helicopter. They transported climbers to the hospital in Zakopane. As rescuers emphasize, the mountaineers were very lucky.

Avalanche “two”
Due to the fresh snowfall, TOPR rescuers maintain the second degree of avalanche threat for the next day and appeal to tourists for prudence and proper preparation to go to the mountains.
IN Tatras There are winter conditions. There is fresh snow on the trails, under which a hard, glaciation layer occurs. In the ridge parts, the snow is moved by the wind in places, which increases the risk of avalanche. Moving in higher parts requires experience, knowledge of evaluation of avalanche threat and winter equipment such as crayfish, ice ax, helmet, avalanche ABC. On the lower trails, handles and poles will be useful. Caution and adaptation of plans to current conditions are recommended.
