LOT Polish Airlines, in line with previous announcements, forecasts a record profit of PLN 1 billion for 2023 – the carrier’s spokesman Krzysztof Moczulski announced on social media on Wednesday.

PLL LOT’s strategy, announced in October 2023, assumes revenue of PLN 17 billion and profit of PLN 640 million by 2028. At that time, the management board of LOT Polish Airlines declared that the profit for 2023 would amount to PLN 1 billion. “PLL LOT forecast net profit for 2023 at a (record) level of PLN 1 billion in line with previous announcements. They also repaid the first tranche of the loan in the amount of PLN 450 million on time and do not anticipate any changes in the repayment schedule of the aid received in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic ” – wrote Krzysztof Moczulski, spokesman for PLL LOT, on his profile on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday. He added that “three installments of PLN 450 million each remain to be repaid over the next three years.”

Earlier, former Prime Minister Marek Belka, asked by Gazeta.pl about the construction of the CPK, said: – For such a large port to make sense, there must be a host. According to the announcements made in October last year, 2023 was to be the end of LOT’s transport of 10 million passengers, and by 2028 this number is to increase to nearly 17 million people. The main shareholder of PLL LOT is the State Treasury (69.3 percent of shares), and the second (30.7 percent) is Polska Grupa Lotnicza (PGL), wholly owned by to the State Treasury.
