Louis Vuitton Names Pharrell Williams as New Males’s Inventive Director

Pharrell Williams‘ concept of vogue will take heart stage.

On Feb. 14, Louis Vuitton revealed that the Grammy winner has formally been named the brand new Males’s Inventive Director. This marks a brand new period for the French luxurious model, because the announcement comes two years after the late Virgil Abloh‘s untimely death in November 2021.

“Pharrell Williams is a visionary whose inventive universes broaden from music to artwork, and to vogue, establishing himself as a cultural world icon over the previous twenty years,” a spokesperson for Louis Vuitton stated in an announcement. “The best way by which he breaks boundaries throughout the assorted worlds he explores, aligns with Louis Vuitton’s standing as a Cultural Maison.”

Pharrell’s first assortment will debut in June 2024 throughout Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.

“I’m glad to welcome Pharrell again house, after our collaborations in 2004 and 2008 for Louis Vuitton,” the model’s Chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari stated in a press launch. “His inventive imaginative and prescient past vogue will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton in direction of a brand new and really thrilling chapter.”
