Police officers from Lubin (Lower Silesia Province) saved a dog that was probably thrown from a car on the S3 expressway. The dog was noticed wandering along the road by drivers who notified the police. The officers took the dog and handed it over to a veterinarian.
An unusual police intervention took place on Saturday, August 4 in the Lubin commune. Traffic officers received a report that a dog was running around on a section of the S3 expressway, posing a real threat to both itself and other road users.
The dog was taken under the care of a veterinarian
The police quickly found the dog. It was very scared and tired, so it was given some water and food. The quadruped was later taken to a veterinarian.
“There is a possibility that the dog saved from certain death by the officers was thrown out of one of the passing cars. Therefore, we ask witnesses to this event and people with information about who may be the owner of the dog to contact the District Police Headquarters in Lubin, telephone number 47 8743 200,” says Senior Constable Sylwia Serafin from the police in Lubin.
This is not the first animal rescued by police. Previously, it was a small kitten that was wandering around the street in the Rudna commune.
