Police officers went down to the basement in the center of Lublin, because they received a report about loud music. Already on the stairs they smelled marijuana. They found two men there. As they report, on seeing them, one of them tried to swallow a bundle of drugs, and then began to choke. A card was called to the scene. Doctors removed the bundle from the esophagus of the 28-year-old.

On Saturday (January 21) late in the evening, police officers from Lublin received a report about loud music being played in one of the cellars in the city center.

“A patrol from the prevention department was sent to the site. As soon as the officers went down to the basement, they smelled the characteristic smell of marijuana” – writes the commissar Kamil Gołębiowski from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Lublin.

On the spot, uniformed men found two men, one of whom “behaved strangely”.

“You could see that he was trying to swallow something. At some point, he started choking. An ambulance was called to the scene, which took the 28-year-old to the hospital” – the policeman notes.

During the procedure, doctors removed from the man’s esophagus a “foil bundle with the content of marijuana.”

“In addition, during the search at his place of residence, the criminals found several additional portions of the drug” – emphasizes Gołębiowski.

The 28-year-old was arrested and charged. He pleaded guilty. Drug possession is punishable by up to three years in prison.
