In one of the apartments in Lublin, the police detained a 29-year-old who is to serve a prison sentence for his participation in a fatal beating during a clash of hooligans in 2016. A few months ago, a 34-year-old man who was also in Lublin was arrested in connection with this case.
Criminal investigators from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Lublin detained a 29-year-old resident of the commune Germanywho was wanted on the basis of an arrest warrant issued by the District Court in Tarnobrzeg.
The man was found in an apartment in Lublin Czechswhere he was hiding.
He was sentenced to three years and six months in prison
“He was surprised by the detention” – informs Commissioner Anna Kamola from the press team of the Provincial Police Commander in Lublin.
The 29-year-old has already been sent to prison, where he will serve his sentence. He was sentenced to three years and six months in prison for his participation in a fatal beating that took place in May 2016 on a road near Skaryszew in the Radom district (Mazowieckie Voivodeship) during a clash of hooligans from teams from Lublin and Stalowa Wola. A 33-year-old man from Stalowa Wola died at that time.

Commissioner Kamola reminds that in September – in connection with this case – a 34-year-old man who had been hiding outside the country for several years was arrested.
“He fell under one of the Lublin hospitals when he returned to Lublin” – he emphasizes.
