The police arrested a 17- and 18-year-old on a street in Lublin, who started to run away when they saw them. The younger one ran into the bushes, the older one tried to swim across the Bystrzyca. He had drugs on him.
The police were patrolling Zawilcowa Street in Lublin when they noticed two young men who, upon seeing them, immediately started to run away in the direction of Bystrzyca.
“One of them fell into the bushes. The other tried to swim across the river,” wrote Senior Commissioner Kamil GoÅ‚Ä™biowski from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Lublin in a statement.
He had over 200 grams of mephedrone
Both men were detained by uniformed officers. Two patrols took part in the operation.

“As it turned out, the detainees were two residents of Lublin, aged 17 and 18. The older of them had significant amounts of drugs on him. Initial tests showed that it was mephedrone in the amount of over 200 grams,” informs Senior Superintendent GoÅ‚Ä™biowski.
Additionally, the police found an 18-year-old at his place of residence. The man will be held accountable for possession of significant amounts of drugs, which carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
