Police from Lublin detained a 29-year-old driver for inspection, who had almost completely tinted windows in the car. The man was punished because, according to the regulations, the glass should have at least 70 percent light transmittance. In this case, they had much less.
On Monday (July 11), policemen from the Lublin traffic police inspected the technical condition of the vehicles. During the patrol, a Dodge car caught their attention.
– The vehicle had almost completely tinted windows – says commissioner Kamil Gołębiowski from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Lublin.

This also applied to the side windows in the front doors, which, according to the regulations, should have at least 70 percent light transmittance.

– During the measurements, it turned out that in this case the light transmittance was only 15 percent – the policeman points out.
The 29-year-old driver lost his registration certificate and was fined. – Now he will have to remove the fault and undergo further technical tests – emphasizes Gołębiowski.
