He fell into an unsecured well, when the firefighters arrived he was at a depth of about six meters. He held on to the protruding pipe. Thanks to the efficient action, the man was pulled out of the water. He was hospitalized with symptoms of hypothermia.
On Sunday, July 17, the officer on duty of the State Fire Service in Szczecinek received a notification that in the town of Luboradza (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) a 60-year-old man fell into an unsecured well located on the plot.
The teams from the rescue and firefighting unit of the State Fire Service in Szczecinek and the OSP Barwice unit were ordered to the site.
The victim was in a well at a depth of about six meters. It held on to the protruding pipe and was submerged in water.
The man was taken to hospital
– The actions of the hosts consisted in securing the scene of the incident and safely extracting the man from the well – says the press officer of the KP PSP in Szczecinek, Capt. Mirosław Śledź.
The man was conscious, but very chilled. It is not known how long he stayed in the well. He was taken to hospital suspected of having hypothermia.
