Lubuskie. They killed older women to get money. Judgment

A sentence was passed on the murder of three older women in 2023. Young men killed for money. One of them was sentenced to life imprisonment, the other for 20 years imprisonment. The verdict is unlawful.

Two young men sat on the bench. They are residents of the Międzyrzecki poviat (Lubuskie Voivodeship). Today, 18-year-old Wiktor S. was accused of killing in connection with robberies at a 75-year-old and 82-year-old and attempted murder in connection with a robbery at an 88-year-old woman.

In turn, 20-year-old Maciej S. was responsible for the same crimes, and also for the murder of a second 75-year-old from Brójec.

They killed for money

The accused are colleagues from a small village, who – as established, due to a lack of money – decided to murder the first of the women. The senior was selected by them quite accidentally. They planned everything with another man who ultimately did not take part in the crime.

According to the plan – as the 18 -year -old testified – he was to stand in the chats, and his older colleague was to kill a 75 -year -old and steal her 100 zlotys.

Soon after, they planned another murder, this time they knew that an older woman had more savings. In mid-February they made a second murder, stealing an 82-year-old woman 10,000 zlotys. They were to divide the loot in half.

A few months later, when the money ended, they planned another murder. The division of the roles was the same – the 18 -year -old stood in the chats, and the elder was to commit a crime. On June 20, the 20-year-old, claiming to be a representative of the electricity supplier, knocked on the door, but the 88-year-old did not let him inside. A vigilant senior called the police. When the younger of them saw an oncoming police car, he warned the other men, thanks to which they managed to escape.

Stopping men

Policemen detained an older men on December 27, 2023 in connection with the next murder in Brócce, which took place in mid -September. The victim was 75-year-old Emilia Ł ..

– Thanks to the use of advanced technology of the criminal laboratory, the obtained test results of secured traces allowed to indicate a person who most likely committed a crime – informed sub -inspector Marcin Maludy, a spokesman for the police in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The man was charged with murder, and then by the court's decision he was temporarily arrested.

Lubuski policemen quickly determined that the man also had another murder on his conscience, which had previously occurred, between February 12 and 15, 2023, in Łagowiec – a town three kilometers away from Brójec. An 82-year-old woman was murdered there. On the victim's body there were numerous traces of stewing and injuries dealt with a blunt tool. The woman's body was discovered by a social assistance worker who regularly visited the senior.

– These findings initiated intensive activities of Lubuskie policemen in the context of knowledge about the exact circumstances of the 82-year-old death. This matter, however, remained undetected – explains Maludy.

Policemen determined that the murder was then to be made by a 19-year-old man together with a near 17-year-old friend. Policemen detained the second on January 11, 2024.

In the course of the investigation, it was established that they were also behind the assault on an 88-year-old.

Court: guilty

The Gorzów District Court issued a verdict regarding these violent murder of seniors. Judge Arleta Wawrzynkiewicz announced a life sentence for 20-year-old Maciej S. and 20 years imprisonment for Wiktor S.

The verdict is unlawful.
