Lubyanka. The tests showed the presence of coli bacteria, the water is not suitable for consumption

In tests of water quality carried out by the Sanitary Inspectorate in Toruń from the public water supply in Lubianka (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship), coli bacteria were found. The water is currently unfit for consumption.

Information on this subject was provided on Thursday (June 22) in a communication by the State Poviat Sanitary Inspector in Toruń.

“The State Poviat Sanitary Inspector in Toruń informs that in tests of the quality of water from the public water supply system in Warszewice, the Lubianka commune, which supplies the following towns: Biskupice, Brąchnowo, Brąchnówko, Dębiny, Leszcz, Łubianka, Słomowo, Pigża, Przeczno, Wybcz, Wybczyk, Warszewice, Wymysłowo , Łubianka commune in the Toruń district, coli bacteria were found.

The water is not fit for consumption

According to the district health department in Toruń, the water is unsuitable for consumption. “Work is underway to restore the quality of water that meets the requirements set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of December 7, 2017 on the quality of water intended for human consumption” – it was reported.

The recommendation remains in effect until the next communication. The announcement added that water can only be used for cleaning work – e.g. washing floors and flushing toilets.
