The District Prosecutor's Office in Myszków initiated an investigation into an explosion and fire that occurred in one of the buildings in Ludwinów. During the inspection of the building, the corpse of a man was found, who was wearing protective clothing and an anti -outbreak mask, and substances that probably used for drug production.
Information about the fire was provided on Wednesday by the crisis services of the Silesian Voivode. According to the Provincial Crisis Management Center in Katowice, it occurred on Tuesday in the morning in the vacancy of the carpentry shop, in which tanks with unknown chemical were stored. Fire quenching ended on Tuesday morning, and until late afternoon services worked on the spot.
They don't know who the victim is
A spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Częstochowa Tomasz Ozimek said that the warehouse fire broke out on Tuesday around 4am. He was noticed by a random person who notified the service. The identity of the man who was found in the building has not been established yet. On Tuesday, an inspection was carried out with the participation of the prosecutor. – The results of this activity indicate that the explosion was caused by the fire. In addition, during the inspection, devices and substances were revealed that probably used for drug production – added prosecutor Ozimek. The investigation initiated by the District Prosecutor's Office in Myszków currently concerns the creation of a fire, which resulted in the death of a man. The autopsy of the victim will soon be carried out. Substances found on site will be subjected to detailed chemical examinations.
