(…) Even though he was interested in what was happening in Poland, in the world, and various trends, it seemed to me that he was in Gdańsk all the time and was interested in what we were doing here. Of course, not only with this municipal activity, but also with our change – a change in culture, a change in social policy – said Dulkiewicz.

– The last time we saw each other was at the derby. We had a beautiful derby, we were happy with the promotion of our beloved Łukasz Lechia, we had already scheduled a match for the top league – recalled the president of Gdańsk.

He equally often published photos from the beach in Brzeźno (he probably recommended it to everyone who was going to Gdańsk),” writes the editorial team of “Polityka”.

“He was a huge fan of football (he supported Lechia Gdańsk and watched the Premier League with passion) and good music: rock, punk, alternative, Polish and world music. He attended every important concert, and for over a year he had been trying to see his favorite musicians and respected bands even more often. . Well-read, he quoted the classics of his favorite literature at random. He was always aware of what was happening in politics and in the world of culture,” we read.

“He never really gave in to the disease: he traveled, met, worked, planned. He lived 100 percent, that's what he wanted – he only nodded when someone told him: 'slow down, rest'” – adds the editorial team.
