“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I didn’t want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to disappoint the people who had worked tirelessly with me over the last few months, to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone,” Madonna wrote.

“Now I am focusing on my health and getting stronger. I assure you that I will get back to you as soon as possible,” Madonna stated.

She informed that the current plan is to postpone the North American leg of the tour and start the tour in October in Europe.

“I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support,” she wrote in a statement.

The singer, who will turn 65 in August, is celebrating her 40th career anniversary. As part of “The Celebration Tour”, which was scheduled to start in July, she was scheduled to perform in 35 cities in North America and Europe. The first concert was to take place in Canadian Vancouver, the last one on December 1 in Amsterdam.
