Magdalena Dobrowolska, a film make-up artist and make-up artist, has died. Information about her sudden death was announced by her family on social media, and she was farewelled by, among others, reporter Mariusz Szczygieł. Dobrowolska worked on the sets of films and music videos, and also collaborated with the theater. She was 44 years old.
Magdalena Dobrowolska died on January 14 at the age of 44. She was known on social media as Magdalena Dobra. She shared the results of her work on her profile @dobramagdalena on Instagram. Information about the death was also published there. – She left us so early, so suddenly… she was an extraordinary woman, incredibly talented, joyful and good. She always had an infectious smile and attitude towards life. Information about the death of the film make-up artist was reported on Monday by the website walbrzych.naszemiasto.pl. “We will remember her as a loving Mother, Daughter and Friend,” we read in the obituary published by the website. Dobrowolska, as reported by the Wałbrzych portal, “worked, among others, on film sets of productions carried out in Wałbrzych and the surrounding area”, and also “painted and characterized (…) the characters of music videos, cooperated with the theater in Głuszyca, performed professional make-up for special events, such as proms, weddings and other official meetings. She cooperated with, among others: with actresses Olga Bończyk and Małgorzata Potocka and musician Adam “Nergal” Darski.

Information about the “sudden” death of Magdalena Dobrowolska was also shared by reporter Mariusz Szczygieł on social media. “She was a film make-up artist and my cousin’s daughter. She orphaned two 20-year-old daughters. She is – apart from my parents – the first person in the family to whom I came out years ago and told about my partner’s death. Which proves her character,” wrote Szczygieł on Facebook. “Magda, thank you,” he concluded his post.
