In Maków Mazowiecki, the driver of a milk tanker hit the rear of a passenger car and drove into a ditch. The man was under the influence of alcohol. The situation was recorded by a car camera installed in the car that was hit.
The dangerous incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon on Duńskiego Czerwonego Krzyża Street in Maków Mazowiecki.
– Preliminary findings indicate that the driver of a MAN truck with a trailer, while transporting milk, did not adjust his speed to the road conditions, as a result of which he hit the rear of a Skoda waiting to turn left. The 29-year-old driver of the passenger car, seeing MAN approaching at high speed in the mirror, tried to pull over to the right shoulder. However, the 33-year-old truck driver, wanting to avoid being rear-ended, also chose the right side of the road and drove into the ditch, hitting the rear of the Skoda, reported Deputy Commissioner Monika Winnik from the District Police Headquarters in Maków Mazowiecki.

The incident was recorded on camera and the driver was drunk
No one was hurt in the incident. A car camera was installed in the Skoda and recorded the entire incident. The police decided to publish them. The truck driver will face consequences.
– The 33-year-old truck driver was under the influence of alcohol. He blew more than 0.5 per mille of alcohol into the police breathalyzer. On the spot, the police detained the man's professional driving license. The man has previously had a conflict with the law for driving under the influence of alcohol, and now faces up to five years in prison, a high fine and a driving ban – said Assistant Commissioner Winnik.
