The assembly of Maldon District Council, which passed off on Thursday night, was deserted after a number of pissed off members walked out.

In a press release relating to the incident, Wendy Stamp, chief of Maldon District Council, mentioned: “Sufficient is sufficient. The general public could also be seeing councillor Morris’s disruptive behaviour for the primary time finally evening’s council assembly.

Talking after the assembly, Mr Morris informed the BBC he had no regrets.
