A woman was hit in the town of Małocice near Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. The police inform that the pedestrian is injured and the perpetrator is not at the scene. The search for him continues.
As Deputy Commissioner Joanna Wielocha, spokeswoman for the police in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, told us, the incident took place at 4:30 p.m. in Małocice.
– A 32-year-old woman from Nowy Dwór County was crossing the pedestrian crossing on Wojska Polskiego Street. There was a hit-and-run and the victim was taken to hospital. The perpetrator left the scene, we are looking for him, the policewoman said.
tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz learned that the incident took place at a marked pedestrian crossing. – A police technician is working on site to secure traces. There are also policemen from the Road Traffic Department. Patrols throughout the Nowy Dwór County are looking for the vehicle, which – according to witness accounts – was heavily damaged, he said.
