A person has been discovered {dead} after climbing inside a aircraft’s engine at Salt Lake Metropolis Airport.

Kyler Efinger, 30, from Park Metropolis, breached an emergency exit door whereas on a Delta Airways aircraft on Monday, police stated.

He then walked on to the tarmac and climbed inside one of many jet’s engines.

Efinger’s trigger and method of dying remains to be being decided by police.

The flight, Delta 2348 from Salt Lake Metropolis to San Francisco, was cancelled after passengers safely deplaned, a spokesperson for Delta instructed NBC Information.

They added: “As nothing is extra essential than the protection and safety of our clients and other people, Delta is absolutely cooperating with all aviation authority and legislation enforcement investigations.”
